Getting Started
So, now that you have your class and character, what do you do from there?
Everyone has their own way of approaching things, so your way of leveling will be different from someone else. This guide is how I prefer to level, and the easiest and fastest way I've found.
( By the way, the level cap is 90. )

Lookin' Silly
Now, you probably look pretty silly; with low level and un-matching gear, but that's just how it is when you are getting started. But, sooner or later you'll be looking stylish with full gear.
Leveling
First things first. Quests. Quest givers have a big yellow exclamation point over their head ( ! ) after you complete a quest, they will have a big yellow question mark, ( ? ) telling you that you can turn that quest in for gold, experience, and sometimes gear. The quest giver gives you a task to complete. You do it, then turn it in.
Realistically, questing is designed to be the fastest way to level, but there's other aspects of the game that can give you big experience boosts.
At level 15, you unlock a feature called "Dungeon Finder." Dungeons are instances with 5 people, 3 DPS, 1 Healer, and 1 Tank. (these people can be anyone on the game in the Dungeon Finder.) Your goal in the dungeon is to complete the quests for the dungeon, or defeat all the bosses in the dungeon. It's best to only do dungeons when there are quests being offered, but, it's your preference to when you want to do them.
Now, how will you know where to go? A good feature that WoW has is that it tells you the level of each area. One area might be for levels 20-25, or 60-63. Wherever your level fits, you should go.
There's the whole world of Azeroth to explore and quest; just turn on some tunes and quest away. You'll experience different settings for each arena, bringing a new landscape every time.

Anything else?
Now, you may be interested in PvP while leveling. While that is not recommended you can definitely do it. At level 10, you unlock the feature to que for Battlegrounds. You can gain experience from winning, but if you lose, you barely get any.
You may get tired or bored of leveling. but PERSEVERE ! Once you get a max level character, there are a ton of doorways that open up to new, fun, and exciting adventures that you and your allies can tackle together.
Once you reach exalted with the guild your in, you can buy Bind on Account gear that you can give to other characters when leveling ( Confused? Visit the "Guild" tab under World of Warcraft )
